At Lotus Centre, we see tremendous value in working collaboratively with community organizations to increase opportunities for those in the special needs community to participate in meaningful music making. We regularly engage in the activities below, but if you would like to explore something different we would love to hear from you! We are always open to discussing new and innovative ways to bring music to people of all abilities.
Music Circle with the National Arts Centre
This unique program allows participants to immerse themselves in experiencing the instruments of the orchestra through a combination of hands-on workshops and an adaptive performance. For this program, we partner with special education classrooms, day programs, therapy center, and more to bring the musical experience to you. The program can be adapted for participants of all ages. For more information on the Music Circle program, please visit the NAC Music Circle webpage.
